• Avoid contact with water and rain. Genuine leather tends to harden, wrinkle, and fade when wet. If it gets wet, blot the moisture with a dry soft cloth and let it air dry naturally in a cool, ventilated place. Never expose it to direct sunlight or dry it with a hair dryer.
• Do not wear the same pair continuously for long periods. After wearing, let them rest for 24-48 hours so the leather can rebound and recover, reducing wrinkles and deformation.
• Keep away from sharp objects, oil stains, and ink. Oil stains that penetrate the leather surface are very difficult to clean.
• Surface dust: gently wipe with a soft dry cloth or a soft suede brush.
• Minor stains: use a dedicated genuine leather cleaner, apply a small amount to a cloth, then wipe the shoes. Do not pour liquid directly onto the shoe surface.
• Do not use soap, laundry detergent, or alcohol, as they will corrode the leather surface, causing dryness, cracking, and fading.
• Matte leather and waxed leather: choose a dedicated cream, not ordinary glossy shoe polish, which will damage the matte texture.
• Do not apply oil frequently or thickly. Excess oil easily attracts dust and causes mold.
• Clean thoroughly before storing. Insert shoe trees or paper balls inside to maintain the shape and prevent collapsing and wrinkling.
• Store in a ventilated, dry place in a dust bag. Do not store in sealed plastic bags, as this easily causes mold.
• During the rainy season, take them out regularly for ventilation and inspection to prevent mold spots.
• Genuine leather has natural grain, slight color differences, and fine pores, which are normal phenomena and not quality issues.
• In case of water soaking, large-area mold, or peeling leather, try to take them to a professional shoe repair shop.
